Dr. Liebovich received his B.S. in Anthropology and Human Biology from Emory College in Atlanta, Ga. He went on to receive his medical education from Loyola University of Chicago — Stritch School of Medicine, performing his residency for internal medicine at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Liebovich served as Associate Chief Resident during his residency. He went on to obtain a fellowship for gastroenterology at Loyola University Medical Center. Her served as Chief GI Fellow during his final year of training. Dr. Liebovich is trained to perform endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP).
Dr. Liebovich has taken part in authoring seven abstracts. His awards include Resident of the Year.
His professional memberships include American Medical Association, American College of Nutrition, American Gastroenterological Association, American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, Chicago Society for Gastroenterology, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Liebovich is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
