Dr. Glaws has a Bachelor of Science in biology from Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., obtained in 1984. He completed his medical education from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1988. Dr. Glaws completed his rotating internship at Sun Coast Hospital in Florida in 1989. He followed with his Internal Medicine residency at Winthrop University Hospital in New York, finishing in 1992. In 1995 Dr. Glaws completed his Gastroenterology training at the University of Illinois, Chicago, where he was appointed Chief Fellow. During his fellowship, Dr. Glaws authored several papers in endoscopic procedures and pancreatic disease.

Dr. Glaws is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
